Melanie Basil

Melanie Basil comes to the Van Dyck Law Group with more than 17 years of combined background in the healthcare and legal fields. Melanie’s years of experience in healthcare have given her an extensive knowledge of assisted living, skilled nursing and sub-acute rehabilitation and homecare services This experience along with her most recent position in elder law and estate planning gives Melanie a comprehensive understanding both our clients care needs and their planning needs.

As a Certified Medicaid Planner, CMP and a Certified Dementia Practitioner, CDP; Melanie is a specialist at providing families the tools, guidance, and the resources they need to prepare for the next steps in planning for long-term care. Melanie can lead families through the tedious process of the Medicaid application process as well as other long-term care planning strategies.

Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a Concentration in Marketing College of St. Elizabeth.

When Melanie is not planning for our clients, she enjoys running and spending time with her 10-year-old son enjoying soccer games and days at the beach.
