Books Written by Fiona Van Dyck

In 2020, millions of people will receive the shattering news of an Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis. In this new book series, Fiona Van Dyck taps into her years of experience of helping people in the Princeton area and Central New Jersey to share current and must-have information to guide those recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers to cope, prepare and protect themselves. These short books are designed to be easy and quick to read and offers practical advice on exactly what one needs to do.

These timely and practical guides go beyond the general information available online and from healthcare organizations. These books show the reader:

  • Different options for care providers
  • How to protect themselves legally
  • How to choose their decision-makers
  • How to plan for their pets
  • How to deal with the stresses of caregiving
  • Answers to the most common questions regarding Alzheimer’s disease

Fiona has devoted her professional life to helping the elderly in our community and it pains her to see people in her community hit with the life-shattering news of an Alzheimer’s Disease diagnosis and not know what to do next. Nobody is prepared for this type of news and helping, and guiding her clients is what Fiona does every day. There is a lot of confusing information out there and Fiona wanted to author simple and easy-to-read guides that offers critical ‘next step’ information, for caregivers and the newly diagnosed.
